The Holiday Club was not so much a house but more of an institution. Hard knocks by day and and hard rocks by night. The pain and pleasure, highs and lows, love and hate, rock and roll created and experienced in this housing was simply like nothing so many have seen. Shotgun blasts and mortar fireworks on New Years Eve. Mortar shells IN the KITCHEN on the 4th of July.
Yeah. That's what I call a good time. Did you leave your mark on the bathroom wall? NO? Well here's you chance, ladies and gentlemen! The Holiday Club is not merely some missed opportunity in PDX real estate history, HELL NO! The Holiday Club, for those concerned, is a state of mind. Who knows where the next one may pop up? New Jersey? Austin? Baltimore? The Holiday Club is simply put, WHERE THE PARTY IS.
So park the car, get out of the rain, step in and all the way out to the infamous Sloo Shack for some 3 am barbeque. Get drunk, get dirty, be loud and proud cause what's done in the club, stays in the club.
