Just the kind of thing that kinda/sorta/almost gives me the masochistic urge to actually apply for registered theme camp status....
But then, that whole deal is such a huuuuge motherfucking undertaking, where you end up spending most of your time at camp, guarding your shit and all that BS jazz.
But we can still burn it at parties! no? Or occasionally donate it to regional events to represent/represent, yes? Hookers in tha house, yo.

Either way, fucking great work Dan!

MEETING:
Tentatively set for Saturday March 4th at The Observatory.

MUSIC: Holiday Club Hookers: the hot rockin house band needs to start thinkin about some resources, as well as material. Sooo... .
Plan on bringing some of those to the table.

Patches/gang jackets:
I have some logos in mind, Any ideas on the duds?
I'm thinkin jean jacket over leathers. ideally. Or maybe jeans vest. Yeah, actually jeans vests would be best 'cause they would work with so many different combinations of layers.
So yeah, think and channel "jeans jacket VEST!"
Also, a good collection of random patches, trinkets, mojo, junk, etc. would be good as well. So think about collecting these things.

Uh... what else?

Hello, Fellow Holiday Clubinarians!!!

It has recently come to my attention that a number of our fine citizens have been very busy working on preposterous propositions pertaining to possible property postulations and pontifications for possibly perpetual party presumptions?

And to this I say, no time like the present!

We have on the docket, a number of great additions, improvements and inventions to consider so I propose it would be in the Club's best interest to schedule a small series of preliminary meetings to discuss some general tactics, goals and deadlines before time gets any the better of us.

Considering BRC tixx go on sale the 18th, why don't we plan on a meeting at the Observatory on the following weekend say, the 21st of January. Isn't that the Solstice?

Ya or nay, just weigh in and all that, etc.

It appears as though our beloved Boner will be visiting the PDX area sometime in mid-late November,, AAaand word on the street is that some sort of shenanigans are in the works to transpire at the S.E. HC/83 chapter DBA The Observatory.

Consider it our own personal decompression of sorts.

Since I and a few HC alumni were thinking of attending this SOAK thing, I was thinking of setting up the Holiday Club as a full-on registered Theme Camp.

Though most arrangements and/or commitments will be made in an offline fashion, I just wanted to post this here for anyone whom I might not otherwise be calling this week.

Tradition takes time.
This being the first year that The Holiday Club makes it's presence known in the crazy hard-rock town of Black Rock, we are putting our best foot forward for what we hope to be a long standing tradition and potential institution at Burning Man.
Our theme, always and forever will be:
"Everyday Is A Holiday." The weeks schedule is as follows:
Monday- Labor Day- Work! Motherfucker!
Tuesday- Holiday Club wild card holiday- Could be Easter, could be Kwanzaa
Wednesday- Thanksgiving- Yer settled, now give thanks for having made it.
Thursday- Xmas- the Santa Con
Friday- Halloween- No duh......
Saturday- New Years Eve- The REAL New Year begins when then Man burns down.
Sunday- Veterans Day- Your are now a BRC veteran. Now WORK!

Now granted, this first year will be a little slim as we have only just begun. But as time rolls on, we intend to be THE PARTY PLACE for ALL of your HOLIDAY MADNESS!!
Besides, you only get to see your dust buddies once a year, why not experience all of the holidays in one week together!
